St. Patrick's Day Washi Tape Shamrocks

There is always that thought that if you can make it through February then spring is just around the corner.  Well, February (and the cold it brought with it) is out the door and I am welcoming in March......specifically St. Patrick's Day!  What better way to bring a little color to this drab winter than with some cute washi tape shamrocks.

Supplies

Washi tape
Cardstock
Shamrock pattern (I used a cookie cutter)
Scissors
Pipe cleaners and hot glue gun (optional)

Cover your cardstock in washi tape.
The pattern on this tape did not line up exactly, but it wasn't a big deal.

Trace your shamrock pattern onto the cardstock.
I used a cookie cutter as my template and traced onto the back of the cardstock
because I didn't want any pen markings on the front/washi tape side.

Cut out your shamrocks.

I hot glued a green pipe cleaner to the back of each shamrock to give it a base.

That's it!  They were so easy!

I absolutely love the way they turned out!

What are you using washi tape for?
